About The Venison Project

The Venison Project is a non-profit initiative founded by the team behind Seek One, dedicated to uniting the hunting community and supporting local communities in need with venison harvested by hunters. In January 2024, The Venison Project’s first public event saw over 200 hunters come together, yielding 700 pounds of venison for homeless shelters in downtown Atlanta. With a mission to combine a love for hunting with community service, The Venison Project further grew in 2025. Donating 250 Deer across 3 states (Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee). In 2026, The Venison Project is anchoring down in our home state. Hosting our biggest event yet! Our Goal is to host 1,000 people and donate over 250 deer in a weekend. We continue our partnership with North Fulton Community Charities in Roswell, Georgia. We have donated 50 lbs./ week of venison to their food pantry since October of 2025. Our goal is to double that number this year! We invite hunters and supporters to get involved through donations or participation in the upcoming Doe Day, helping to make a positive impact in both the hunting community and local food security.
